Can someone please explain to me the plodding appeal of Keane? I seriously don't get it. It's three guys wailing about heartache but sounding entirely apathetic and cold. I like both bands that these lads want to channel (Coldplay and Ben Folds) but they really are too sterile to have the edge that the desperately long for.

One sent me a few CDs a few months ago, including Keane. I really like it a lot. I didn't think they were trying to be edgy.
My friend also sent me The Postal Service, which I like a lot too.
