which reminds me of the story of a friend who gave her mom those *ahem* chinese health balls for christmas one year... her mom, a teacher, returned to school and told everyone who asked that her daughter had given her benwa balls for christmas. until a friend clued her in to what benwa balls are. and then she was mortified.
