This just in - everything purchased at Old Navy is total crap. Never again. It all falls apart/fades in no time flat. It's cheap for a reason.

But here's the difference - they were on deep-markdown sale. So presumably they were either irregulars ("whoops! this one came out too well-made!") or they weren't very fashionable. Or both.
