Well, dear readers, today randomness is a sunny place. No more PICC line. I still have the farting vacuum but no longer have the intravenous antibiotics nor the daily hospital trip and fatigue that they created. Tunnel, meet light.
Posted by mikewolf at September 15, 2004 02:43 PMThank goodness. How much longer do you need that machine?
Posted by: LadyCrumpet on September 15, 2004 02:50 PMBut we love the Farty Machine!!!
Posted by: Daniella on September 15, 2004 04:27 PMC'mon, Daniella, that lous vacuum thingy makes it SO much harder for Mike to stalk celebrities!
Posted by: Ken Goldstein on September 15, 2004 05:12 PMshusha. That thing is awesome. It's my idea that tomorrow (Ken are you coming with us tomorrow?), we have to go to the American Girls's store on 5th Avenue and buy the Farty Machine an outfit.
I need everyone to help me convince Mike of this. I measn, if he has to have a small Farty Thing strapped to him, shouldn't it at least have a cute outfit?
Posted by: Daniella on September 16, 2004 11:13 AMI agree Daniella, if only I was there to assist in the shopping, what fun we would have!

And here, I thought it was Mike who was sick. 8^D
Surely someone's pointed this out by now, but doesn't the machine serve a purpose similar to having a dog to scapegoat for one's actual farts? I seriously needed either a fart machine or a puppy at work today, thanks to hummus/falafel pita at lunch.
Glad you're better, btw!
Posted by: Vernam on September 16, 2004 09:40 PMi agree. much much easier to say "it wasn't me, it was this machine!" than to say "it wasn't me, it was this machine...in a cute frilly dress."
(glad things are better mike! take care!)
