The Johnny and June auction at Sotheby's isn't open until the week after next. However, the American Gas Association has managed to buy their way into hosting a GOP party inside the auction house. Some are planning a protest. Sounds like a great idea to me.
As I've mentioned here before, I'd love to buy something from the auction. Just anything, really. While I'd love a nice item like this, something insane like this or something jaw-dropping like this, I'll probably have to settle for trying to win something like this.

If nothing else, perhaps you should buy a copy of the auction catalog. That's still something worth having, if you're interested, and certainly more affordable.
