Last night I was watching the last segment of the wonderful BBC documentary "Lonesome Highway" (thanks for the tip, Dennis) when the simply luscious Gillian Welch game onscreen performing "Time (the Revelator)." They then cut away to Gillian who said -

People come up to me all the time and tell me that my music makes them cry. I've learned to take it as a compliment.

It was at that precise moment that I realized that I was crying. No. I'm serious. My excuse is that I was extremely tired and that "Time" reminds me of a very specific moment in my life. Whatever the reason, though, it was pretty damn bizarre.
