Before the whole igf thing got rolling, I meant to mention my pal Courtney Love. Anybody catch that Letterman perfomance? A thing of great beauty. She bared her breasts at least six times, couldn't carry on a conversation to save her life and would have been flat on her face during her "performance" if not for her guitarist and a very sturdy microphone stand. Apparently as sturdy as the mic stand she threw into the crowd at the Bowery later that night.

I've often bemoaned the fact I've never been able to witness a real rock star fall to pieces before my very eyes. I'm too young for the classics (Moon, Bonham, Jones, Williams, etc.) and Cobain's wasn't particularly obvious. Courtney, though, is certainly well on her way.
