here comes the story of the hurricane

The pessimist in me isn't very happy with this graphic -

Remember, I'm supposed to be leaving Thursday afternoon to go to Austin. Keep your fingers crossed...

i spent a summer working as a hurricane a coupla years ago. the hours sucked, but the pay was good.

the drawback to working as a hurricane: you don't get to pick your name. some buncha twits in an office somewhere pick it for you. i was stuck with "nigel". i don't know about you, but "hurricane nigel" doesn't exactly strike fear into my heart. big drawback to the job.

oh, yeah. don't die or anything.

That job blows.

I'm sorry you'll be in the path of the hurricane. Hopefully it will continue to weaken and just be a bit of a rainstorm.

I'm a bit peeved myself that the path has shifted north. I wanted to wear my new raincoat. ;)

Yes, Brad. If I die in a horrible crash you can wax poetic here :-)

SPECK! Inspecktor?! Where the hell have you been? Welcome.

I'm sorry about the raincoat, LC. It's Atlanta. You'll have plenty of sh*tty weather, don't worry about it.

And are my witticisms completely wasted here? Please tell me that somebody "got" the subject title. I'm starting to feel like Dennis Miller. No, no. Don't worry. That doesn't mean I'm going to become a turncoat Republican.

I certainly hope not. Miller's a pompous ass.

And no, I didn't get the title. Guess I'm a peabrain.
