I hold in my little hands two new CDs by two of my favorite artists that came out yesterday - The Jayhawks "Rainy Day Music" and Lucinda Williams' "World Without Tears." Almost makes up for the fact that the 'hawks will be in town tomorrow but I'll be at Vic's show.
This is almost as cool as the day last spring when Elvis and Wilco released their discs on the same day.

When I read a review that said the new Lu is "perhaps the greatest collection of songs about being in love since 'Blood On The Tracks'" I read it as pure hyperbole. I don't think so. This is an amazing collection. I've heard all of it online but in the chosen sequence and in the non-compressed glory it sets an amazing mood.

I can't down load music as my "personal" computer exploded about 3 mos ago and I am still waiting for the replacement. I do (unfortuately) still have my "work" computer but my employer has dedcided that we don't need sound cards and I am not allowed to install one!!
I am always on the look out for new stuff, Do you have a review?

the dumbo area is quite easy to get to...take the F train to york and you're there! or the A train to High (get off at the back of the train). Peace.
