sometimes it snows in april
sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
sometimes I wish life was neverending,
and all good things, they say, never last

(I should add that I'm not a big believer in that last line...)
Posted by mikewolf at April 01, 2003 03:45 PMI'm sorry it's snowing. I'm wearing sandals. Sending you sunshine from Atlanta. XOXO
Posted by: Cassie on April 2, 2003 01:46 PMSANDALS ARE ILLEGAL! SANDALS ARE ILLEGAL!... Whoa! Channeling a little too much JWH&N there.
Posted by: Meredith on April 2, 2003 02:02 PMit's 75 here in colorado. one week from tomorrow i'll be in LA!
Posted by: Tiffany on April 2, 2003 02:51 PMI lived in the South too long... my body clock is STILL set to Florida/Georgia weather. From mid-February on, I start thinking that it's going to get hot. And I'm always disappointed when does things like, well, SNOW IN FUCKING APRIL!!!!
Posted by: zeebah on April 2, 2003 06:42 PMIt was in the 80s here in S'pore today. Then, it's in the 80s here every day.
BTW, thanks for making it so that all the links on your page no longer pop up new windows. I hate that.
Posted by: Mark on April 3, 2003 04:39 AMNo way! I've been thinking about this song for the past few days. And when I ask people if they've ever heard it, I may as well be speaking Chinese.
Posted by: D'Lish on April 3, 2003 11:14 AMAw, I like the new window links. I HATE losing my place on a good website, especially when the new website won't let you back out of it.
Posted by: Meredith on April 3, 2003 12:11 PMLOL, D'lish. You must admit that it's a schmaltzy piece of work, isn't it?
I actually like the sites to pop up in new windows. I think most people do. You're just freak, Schnitzius. It's just that I now use Blogroller for those links and you can't get them to pop in a new window unless you pay for their services.
Posted by: mrw on April 3, 2003 07:24 PMSee, but you CAN get these links to pop up in a new window, if you want. Just right click, and select "Open link in new window". There's typically a keyboard shortcut to do the same, like Ctrl-click, depending on your browser.
I hate when a website is so self-important that it has to tell you, "Oh, you'll be wanting to keep me around! Here's a new window -- hope you don't already have fifty open!" Why not just open a new window when the USER wants one? What if every link on every page opened a new window?
Posted by: Mark on April 4, 2003 12:21 AMMark, if you hate sites that are so self-important to always open new links, what about the ones that refuse to acknowledge that you were ever at another website before coming to them? I despise websites where hitting the back button just redirects you to their home page, no matter how many times you hit it.
Posted by: Meredith on April 4, 2003 08:21 AMOh yes, I hate that too. And don't even get me started about sites that feel they need to pop themselves to the front several times during loading while you try to read some other page.
And those Iraqi people think they have it rough!
