I'm going to see Bono speak on Sunday. He's being interviewed by John Pareles for the New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend. Bono and John Pareles. Can you imagine the ego in that room?!
At any rate, they're opening the floor to questions. What should I ask ol' Mr. Hewson?
Posted by mikewolf at March 04, 2003 05:01 PMAsk him why they left "Gloria" of their first best-of compilation.
Posted by: Frankenstein on March 4, 2003 05:47 PMErr, that should be "off of"
Posted by: Frankenstein on March 4, 2003 05:47 PMAsk him if he's still on speaking terms with Chastity.
Oh, wait...
No, yeah, ask him that.
Posted by: Jim on March 4, 2003 09:55 PM"Do you have enough self-awareness to realize how ridiculous you are?"
If anyone's going to call out Bono on his act, a New York crowd would definitely do it. Then again, the spectacle of the questioners should be entertaining as well.
Posted by: ssg on March 5, 2003 11:24 AMHe's got his White House connections - ask why can't he talk some sense into Georgie?
Posted by: deano on March 5, 2003 12:16 PMDid I read somewhere that he's a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize next year? Or did I just smoke some bad crack?
