So I watched "Boston Public" tonight. As I've mentioned before, it's a guilty pleasure. I lingered too long on the preview for the "Joe Millionaire: The Aftermath" and saw the audition tape guy who wanted to be Joe. He told this joke
Women are like parking spaces. All the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped!
Ha ha ha. Isn't that funny? Fucker.
Has everyone heard this joke and I have somehow avoided it? A quick Google search for "women are like parking spaces" came up with thirty hits. "Men are like parking spaces" culled over 100 hits.
And I wonder why my dating options seem so bleak these days.
Posted by mikewolf at February 24, 2003 09:16 PMI had never heard that joke, thankfully.
Marjorie says that Boston Public is a frighteningly accurate depiction of what life is like in an inner-city school. She doesn't have to watch it, she lived it.
Cough, cough.

Posted by: zeebah on February 25, 2003 12:56 PMI never watch Boston Public, but I actually did catch it this week for the first time. Insanity. Every - single - scene was drama x100. I wanted to cry about 5 times.
And yes, that joke is horrid.
