Okay. Okay. I'll come completely clean. When I was in seventh grade I owned this jacket. It still gives me nightmares but, damn it, I was 11 or 12.
Anybody here witness to it? Joel? Tiffany? Brad? Anyone? Go ahead. Let 'er rip and then
beat it... beat it...
Posted by mikewolf at February 18, 2003 10:48 PMmike- wow. i just don't know what to say. "do you still have it," she fearfully asked.
Posted by: nikki g. on February 19, 2003 01:37 AMI can attest to this jacket. I applaud you Mike for taking a big step and admitting your problem now it is time to heal.
Posted by: Brad on February 19, 2003 09:49 AMNo. I believe that it was mercifully pawned off on some other sad sap at a garage sale when I was in high school.
Posted by: mrw on February 19, 2003 10:27 AMI can't believe someone out there in the world is actually willing to pay $105 for the jacket. One mans junk, another mans treasure - I guess.
Posted by: Cassie on February 19, 2003 11:23 AMMaybe we could start some kind of a support group. Though I didn't have the red zipper jacket, I desperately wanted one!
Posted by: K.Britt on February 19, 2003 01:17 PMi guess i'm the only one who doesn't see anything wrong about this. it was the times. like big bangs and matching your socks to your t-shirts. now, if you told me that you still wore, then i'd vote for an intervention.
you have absolutely no padding on the left hand side of the comments box. is that intentional. it's a little strange looking. i need my space man. don't crowd me.
Posted by: patricia on February 19, 2003 03:26 PMThat's just cuz you're a saint, pea :-) You're right though. That along with the parachute pants...
These comment boxes are all jacked up. I'll deal with it tomorrow...
Posted by: mrw on February 19, 2003 07:10 PMwait- i had parachute pants...and they were purple and boys, no less. i bought them with a matching black and purple striped shirt and very, very thin purple tie. and i wore it through the mall with pride.
Posted by: nikki g. on February 19, 2003 08:12 PMoh my- did i really just post that?
Posted by: nikki g. on February 19, 2003 08:13 PMyou're not the one doing the bidding to get it up to $105, are you? maybe having regrets about tossing it aside years ago.
Posted by: kathleen on February 19, 2003 09:33 PMHa! That is the VERY JACKET I was made to wear all night on the night of my bachelor party. My friend bought it at a second hand store for like $10. It's truly a catalyst. Maybe it's the same one?
Posted by: Mark on February 19, 2003 10:05 PMWord! You were stylin', Nikki!
