I never realized how time consuming ripping 20 gigs of MP3s from my CD collection would be. I've been working on it every evening and all day today and I'm still barely halfway there. So far the discs I've ripped have been the meat and potatoes, if you will. The weird and hipster stuff come next.
If you're really curious as to what I'll be carrying about (and I'm concerned for your well-being if you truly are) here's a list of what I've loaded so far.

Is it just me, or is American Recordings by Johnny Cash far less superior than Americans II - IV?
I cannot bring myself to listen to it.
The other three...brilliant.

It wasn't an editorial decision to omit the first. I can't find the damn disc. What the? Empty case on the shelf. Same goes for a couple of other Costello discs. I think I have a little binder thing somewhere that has some things in it. Lord only knows where it is...
Posted by: mrw on February 18, 2003 09:51 AMHave you heard the boot of the AR demos? If not, let me know.
Catch Beck on Letterman last night? He's on again tonight - thank the blizzard.
Posted by: deano on February 18, 2003 10:43 AMSo if I get one of these MP3 thingies, can you just 'beam' all your stuff to mine? Cause that's a kickass list that would only need minor additions to made me a happy girl indeed...
