So the ol' Tag-Board isn't the only thing around here that's puritanical...
I found out tonight that in the loverly state of Connecticut you cannot buy any wine, beer or liquor from a store after 8 p.m. Eight o'clock!!! I don't know what's more shocking, the mere fact that the cut-off is so early or that it took me a year of living here to find that out. I'm tryin' to become a better solo lush. I'm tryin'!!!

no, i'm afraid not. about the craziest hair thing i ever did was dye it black when i lived in england.
however, if i ever do decide to go the mohawk route i will be absolutely sure to consult you, pea, on the proper accessories for such a style.
Posted by: mrw on November 14, 2002 11:53 PMi moved to new jersey from connecticut (screaming and crying all the way of course) and the only saving grace i found in the first few months was that you can buy beer and wine until 2 am - a trade off i suppose. so what i learned is, people in connecticut don't NEED their buzzes nearly as much as we joisey girls do.
good luck on the solo lush act, i found it helped to invite an imaginary friend over for drinks. only he turned into one of those angry drunks, and brought his imaginary angry drunk friends over as well, the whole scene got pretty ugly.

Of course, you can be like me and buy all your alcohol at Sam's Club.
Oh, you can't buy alcohol here on Sunday, either. You can't in Michigan, either, if I remember right, can you?
